Democracy it aint

A group of children playing;"iwant to be RANDOLPH" "you cannot be GANDOLPH" "THAT IS WHAT I SAID, I WANT TO BE RANDOLPH!!". There are those that LEAD and those that FOLLOW. "No way mate i,m getting on first!!"."I think that there should be a major change to the educational system in the UK" "I agree ,tell you what let us TWO go to STRASBERG ". So off the "TWO" went and got a major change to the WHOLE EDUCATIONAL STRUCTURE IN THE UK. A person went into a betting shop put the lot on the favourite in the 2.30 went back next day put the slip over the counter only to be told the favourite came in last."I know that,I want my money back".No legal action will give you the right to claim your money back,"SHOULD HAVE GONE TO STRASBERG".Group of people speculated with lloyds ,lost the lot . One of the group publicly sold what he had fought for "saying publicly I gambled I LOST" .Perhaps he will be remembered as he always has been as a Gentleman.If the UK is a DEMOCRACY perhaps there needs to be a knew Oxford Dictionary definition.

As far as i am aware the UK is like the QE2.or any other ocean going vessel it floats alone isolated.From my limited knowledge of the structure,form,of the day to day "running,lifestyle,recreational,security",aspects of those on board such a vessel are recognised globally as democratically based principles.So why is the majority of society in the UK allowing the ship we all sail in to sink?!!.On a daily basis someone is saying they believed that the UK was a safe place with opportunity for all a civilised society.Yet what do they find, prisons overcrowded,people living in private gated residential estates,moving to rural areas to get away from "IT ALL",desperate to find the "RIGHT SCHOOL",the majority blaming "THEM" a place where i me and we come first.Everywhere some of the majority trying desperately to prop up a failing social structure.Is it because we have given our national language away to the world that their is no longer a national identity shared by all who sail on the ship UK.Perhaps it is just an illusion but when the majority find there is no room in the lifeboats for them perhaps "THEY" will realise that noone is themself an island.

Now can the majority and the minority sort this one out.Let us be logical firstly in the UK AND THE DEVELOPED WORLD 30,40 YEARS AGO "THE THEY " KNEW WHAT THE MAJORITY AND THE MINORITY HAVE GOT TO FACE TODAY".Can the DEMOCRACIES of the world save the PLANET.Why not, people are already booking a trip in space,"GLOBAL UNITY",piece of cake,i do not think so: probably 5 times the TOTAL WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR TO END ALL WARS have died since in conflict on a GLOBAL scale !!.So can "THEY" PERSUADE US to do our bit, how about this time the UK stays "NEUTRAL" and everyone makes clocks and learns to yodel."Hang on a minute if the "they" knew 40 years ago BELEIVE ME AND A MAJORITY "THEY DID"!! why did they not sort it out.Well what are people saying." in the future it will be no fun stealing cars they will all be CONVERTED MILK FLOATS,WE MIGHT HAVE TO SUPPLY OUR OWN DRUG MARKET DEMAND, "THEY" HAD BETTER GET A MOVE ON WITH THESE WIND FARM "THINGIES" NOT IN MY BACKYARD!! MATE.

If democracy has not created the stark future of human lifeform on the planet Earth,then what has?.Is it simply winner takes all,( humans against NATURE), people win with wickets to spare, no water to drink,total darkness,Wembley under 10 feet of water (if it gets finished before they manage to melt the Polar Caps)?. "We ave the old flood barrier mate, " they cry ,yes my son but with a score of 20 points to 0 at TWICKERS PEOPLE POWER CLEAR WINNERS OVER NATURE ,SAYS THE SUN and we all no if thats what the sun tells "YUR" it must be true.Well lets face it if the support for the WORLD CUP is a figure to go by, Nature cannot win!!.

What is the most used conversation subject between even total strangers in the UK "THE WEATHER". If this statement is correct then both the majority and minority do not need Micheal Fish to tell us that "climate change is here to stay".But why is it still only a minority who recognise that the UK and all countries who wish to be recognised as DEMOCRACIES persist in burning and destroying the Worlds rapidly diminishing natural "NON RENEWABLE" ASSETS!?.Can it be that both the majority and the minority of UK,s society are all sharing,craving the same MATERIALISTIC LIFESTYLE;, like Lemmings pushing, shoving, very popular today, each other into the abbys of ultimately destroying the Planet Earth.No they all cry "IT AINT OUR FAULT THEY DONT DO ENOUGH".The majority will say "ITS THEM" AND SO WILL THE MINORITY,but who in a DEMOCRACY ARE "THEY and THEM"?!.

If there has been change then possibly we can believe what is written, what we can read and what we are told.History can confirm the statement " I,VE SEEN IT ALL BEFORE" the Romans forced their ideas on a large group of societies but was that not a minority overuling a majority, colonisation,the same.The UK must always have had minorities, well history says one which seems to have remained are those who are economically the most "WELL ORF " statistics suggest something in the region of 5%of the population have got the most.No change there then.What about the structure of the "family" i think for better or worse most of us recognise that patriarchy,"thats your farthers chair" I earn the money ERE !,do as you are told or i will tell your farther:, went out of fashion a long time ago.So why do the majority accept some change but not change in all of the structure of society.The structure and form of employment has changed from a manufacturing base to a vastly expanding sevice industry.Why? well we are told IT, computors,the ever expanding internet and GLOBALISATION.But if the UK is still a DEMOCRACY we must still have a majority,or perhaps not.

In all confrantations both the majority and the minority are bound to say " they" never do anything,but who are the they?.Surely right is on the side of the minority,"WELL THERE IS MORE OF THEM THAN US". By dictionary definition this is correct, and if the UK is a democracy, so is the statement "IT,S A FREE COUNTRY INNIT ".Well is it!, personally i think it is you can do drugs,commit rape,you can litter the environment,mug, steal,damage any property,lie at will,refuse education,work,carry a gun,murder is quite popular,drive when you like how you like, illegally is cheaper and very popular,play music very loud in public,abuse and murder people who work in all parts of the everyday running of societies key infastructure whatever your gender,age,ethnicity just to name a few. If any of this is true then surely the majority should consider are they to BLAME!?,THE CAUSE?, or say "I,M ALRIGHT JACK!" BUT THEY SHOULD DO SOMETHING! Perhaps "THEY" ARE PERHAPS! THEY ARE ON THE SIDE OF THE MINORITY.

If Lockes definition and his fellow contributors to dictionary compalation are to be believed there will always be a minority in a democratic society, community, organisation, institution, infastructure, team, which the majority have to respect and recognise. The response to this by the definition of democracy would have to be a meeting of minds recognised by both the majority and minority parties involved. The past, present and future form of the elected gorvernment of the UK have and always will have to recognise the simple and logical definition of democracy ( YOU CAN PLEASE SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME, NOT ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME). If the elected gorvernment is failing a democratic society surely the majority and minority of such a society must share common ground i.e. THEY ARE IDIOTS LED BY BIGGER IDIOTS. If the latter is true then the majority and the excluded and VOLUNTARY excluded must share and find and implement ways to prevent the cause of minority suffering and where it is found to be the reason for effecting the democratic structure of society no COST both financial and mental should be ignored.

So democracy would imply that for it to truly exist there will be a majority in a society both in numbers and preferance of life style and a minority in numbers who are, on a daily bases, excluded from the prefered life style of the majority. The exclusion of the minority may be voluntary or beyond their control. In the UK the costs incured through the actions and will of both the majority and the minority affect the present and future of both alike. I believe this to be an aceptable viewpoint of the relationship between all forms of community and societies throughout the world today but would suggest that the term democracy, which is frequently used, does not apply to daily life in today's social structure in the UK.
